RhythmMatters column – update!

Due to a scheduling conflict and a bit of interneal miscommunication, Bass Guitar Magazine has run the first RhythmMatters column, but Drummer magazine has it slotted in for next month!

We regret this  unfortunate mis-match and are currently debating whether or not to launch the eBooks and mp3s on the site or to hang back and launch them next month, when Drummer will run a double – lesson, enabling us to catch up and sync the lessons.

I’m making good use of the time to touch up some of the mixes and make sure that the tracks sound great.

Bear with me on this one – we’ll make a move on it by the end of the week.

The new columns in Bass Guitar & Drummer Magazine

If you’re a reader of Bass Guitar Magazine or Drummer, you may well have seen the fresh new RhythmMatters column ‘Rhythm Section Development’

If you’re looking for the downloadable backing tracks to pratice and jam along to, or the E Book with more grooves for you to work on…. they’ll be available on Friday 30th July.

The tracks will feature Darren and I with a host of accompanying musicians giving you awesome grooves to play along to.
